Most Expensive Tactical Uniform? What the Price Includes
The price of a tactical uniform depends first on what the seller is counting. A shirt, a pair of trousers and a matching set need different budgets. For a fair comparison, price the same shirt-and-trouser combination for each option, then add any required accessories, delivery and confirmed charges.
This guide uses three dated clothing examples to show how to make that comparison. The sources do not establish a “world’s most expensive” uniform, and the highest price alone does not tell you which option suits your use.
What do current tactical clothing prices include?
The listings below illustrate three different offers. Read the included items before comparing the figures.

These are different clothing offers, not a ranking of equivalent kits or tested performance. Prices can change with the listing, size, colour and region. The figures do not establish final taxes, duties, delivery or the currency charged at checkout.
For a European purchase, get a quote from a seller serving your country. Crye’s webstore shipping information, for example, says it does not currently accept international orders. Its US catalogue figure cannot stand in for a European retailer’s delivered price.
What could justify paying more?
Start with a specific requirement you can check. That might be room for an existing knee-pad system, a particular pocket layout, the ability to order different shirt and trouser sizes, or a documented material requirement. Ask the seller what the exact model includes.
A useful price comparison connects the extra spend to that requirement. If a more expensive option offers a feature you will use, examine its specification, fit information and return conditions. If the feature makes no difference to your clothing choice, it need not decide your budget.
For example, UF PRO lists elbow-pad pockets on the shirt above, but sells the pads separately. If you plan to use elbow pads, add their price before calling the kit complete.
Price alone does not establish flame resistance, ballistic protection or a longer service life. Where a protective property is required, check evidence for the exact product and intended use. This price guide is not an assessment of protective suitability.
Build the same clothing budget for each option
Use the same list for each option. Record an unknown charge as “not confirmed” so it stays visible in your decision.

Comparable purchase total = clothing + required extras + confirmed delivery and charges. If a required amount is missing, you have a provisional subtotal.
Suppose one listing includes shirt and trousers while another lists trousers alone. First add the missing shirt to the second option. Then check the accessory and delivery lines for both. Only after that do the totals answer the same question.

Where does the ONYX exoskeleton fit?
Lockheed Martin describes ONYX as a powered lower-body exoskeleton. The manufacturer’s 2018 announcement reports a $6.9 million development award; it does not give a retail or per-unit price.
That announcement cannot support a $30,000 uniform-price claim. ONYX belongs in a discussion of powered equipment. Keep it outside a shirt-and-trouser price comparison.
Questions worth asking before you order
How much more does a premium tactical uniform cost?
There is no single difference you can calculate from the word “premium.” Ask for complete, comparable clothing quotes, then subtract one total from the other. The examples above cannot provide that difference because they cover different items.
Does a higher price mean the uniform lasts longer?
Not by itself. You would need comparable evidence of wear and care for the specific garments to make that claim. Check the care instructions and warranty terms rather than assuming a lifespan from the price.
