ShadowX Tactical Pants: Built for Action
Most tactical pants fail in the same three places: the fabric drinks water and stays wet, the stitching surrenders under repeated stress, and the cut fights you every time you drop into a crouch or climb a fence line. Strike20 built the ShadowX Tactical Pants specifically to close those gaps — starting with the fabric selection and working outward from there.
DWR Treatment That Actually Works in the Field
The ShadowX pants are cut from a ripstop base fabric treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish. DWR is not a laminate or a membrane — it's a surface treatment bonded to the fiber that causes water and light oils to bead up and roll off rather than saturating the material. The practical consequence: you stay drier in rain, morning dew, or the kind of low-level wet conditions that soak through an untreated ripstop in minutes. The fabric breathes the way treated ripstop should, without the clammy, sweat-trapping feel of a fully waterproofed shell.
This is the same category of fabric technology Strike20 uses across its broader apparel line — gear that has been tested under operational conditions in Israel before it reaches customers in Warsaw, Vilnius, Helsinki, or Amsterdam. When we say field-tested, we mean security firms and law enforcement units have worn this material on duty, not just
